Zu (adverb: Zu)

Appearance: The Zu are very Azaar-like in appearance but tend to have much paler skin, smaller frames, and more colorful hair.  They possess a singular angelic wing on their left side.  The wing is strong and hard as steel, yet also light like a bird's wing.  Despite its proportional size, the fact that they only have one wing means they cannot fly.  Even building an artificial wing, this is not possible.  The best it can do is soften a fall.  The wing is able to fold up nicely and hide beneath clothing.  The eyes of the Zu are also strange in that their iris is always black, but their pupil actually has different colors like the iris of any other race would be.  Most Zu have eye colors that match their hair colors, but it is still possible for the colors to be different.  They also have anywhere from three to ten black almost gear-like markings that can be on any part of the body.  

Background: Not much is known about the history of the Zu.  There had always been stories of these mysterious people since the first records of any of the races but they started showing up more one day shortly after the races of Bael were beginning to make peace with each other.  They are still very rare, and you are considered lucky if you meet even two of them in your lifetime.  Still, when seen they are not regarded as foreign or an oddity.  Their strange rarity and elusiveness has grown to be an accepted fact.  Still, every Zu ever known has accomplished great things, the majority of them being good.  But there is always a bad apple in the bunch.
