Bael

Alvare Desert

This massive desert is the largest single habitat on the continent of Bael, taking up almost a fifth of the continent. It is the home of the Irian people and their predatory foes the Hekk'ran. There are many oases' spread throughout the desert that others have managed to settle, but travelers are best prepared escorted by Nub'irians familiar with the area.

Azaaria Peninsula

This is the homeland of the Azaar. It is a frigid tundra not very hospitable for life. Yet the Azaar still managed to thrive for centuries before moving south. The capital city, as well as the residence of the Frostwells, is Kaldenheim.

Bael's Heart

The area known as Bael's Heart was named so by none other than its original inhabitants the Rovas, believing it to the most important place on the continent. It also happens to be located at the center of the continent and is a vast landscape of plains. The capital city is Velliran.

The Highlands

This is the home of the Shurians. Long ago they lived at the foot of the hills, but after a revolution, they made the tops there homes. A dangerous and precarious place to travel, but riches are still rumored to lie in the depths of the abandoned fortresses.

The Hollow Mountains

The new homes of the Hobblins. This mountain range spans many hundreds of kilometers with peaks thousands of meters high. There is a series of natural tunnels winding throughout the range that make even those familiar with the landscape susceptible to becoming lost.

Twilight Forest

This is the largest singular forest on the entire continent. The Twilight Forest takes up over 9 million square kilometers and touches the southern edge of the Hollow Mountains.
